Do you need help voting?

If you are a person with a disability and would like assistance for voting there are a couple of things you can do. You can go to your polling place and can take someone with you to help you vote. They cannot tell you who to vote for, but they can go into the booth with you and help you understand how to fill out your ballot.

If you can't get to the polling place you can vote absentee in person up to 15 days prior to elections or by requesting an absentee ballot by mail 10 days prior to the election. Voting absentee is an easy and simple way to vote. You may also use a personal representative to pick up a ballot for you. There's a special form that your representative will need to fill out and take to the polling place. Again, your representative can't tell you how to vote, but can help you with getting your ballot and returning it to the polling place.

If you should encounter any problems with voting, you may file a complaint by filling out an Administrative Comlaint Form.
